A follower asked the Sage, "Why do you seem content without heavenly visions and the like?" The Sage said, "Because I'm so in love with reality."

On another ocassion, the Sage told the following story...
An inebriated man was staggering across a bridge one night and met a friend. They leaned over the bridge and began chatting.
“What’s that down there?” asked the intoxicated man.
“That’s the moon,” replied his friend.
The inebriated man looked again, shook his head in disbelief, and said, “Okay, okay. But how did I get way up here?!”
The Sage said... A wise spiritual path does not encourage us to see visions of the extraordinary that few see. A wise spiritual path encourages us to see the obvious that few see.
